Willis White has extensive training and experience in the development of solar projects. As CEO and President of Solar-Oversight, he provided creative financing of renewable energy technology for non-profits in low and moderate income communities. His primary focus is in solar and energy efficiency. This includes collaboration with non-profits, financial institutions, governments, entrepreneurs, and investors. His financing expertise includes tax credits, grants, private investors, and government rebates. Previously, Mr. White owned and managed a portfolio of 20+ commercial real estate properties in the U.S. and Mexico. His entrepreneurial experience spans more than 25 years including successful startups and acquisitions from $40,000 to $3.5 million in the hospitality industry. Prior to this Mr. White served as Public Works Administrator for a number of cities. Mr. White holds a B.S. in Engineering from Tennessee State University, a M.S. in Public Works Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, a Certificate of Management Development for Entrepreneurs from the University of California, Anderson School of Management, a Solar M.B.A Certificate from Heat Springs Learning Institute, and is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional by the National Development Council.
